Explore Our Rides
Valley Rides: One & Two Hour Tours
Perfect for all riding abilities, our One and Two Hour rides depart from our Pemberton Meadows Ranch. Ride along the fertile valley farmland, where you’ll experience a combination of terrain including creeks, forests and hay fields along the Pemberton Meadows Road. Witness the stunning view of Mt Currie from horseback. Popular with beginner riders, this tour can also be booked as private for advanced riders.
Mountain Rides: Day Trips & Expeditions
Experience the thrill and beauty of riding in the Birkenhead Mountain region. A type of riding even lifelong riders often haven’t experienced, our sure-footed horses will take you across varying elevations and terrain - through winding forests, steep alpine single-track, rivers, lakes, and old gold-mines. This is mountain riding. It’s steep, it’s stunning, it’s the ultimate adventure.
At Copper Cayuse Outfitters, we deeply value our long-standing relationship with the N'Quatqua First Nation and their support of our operations on their traditional lands. Together, we’re working to strengthen our partnership by aligning with N'Quatqua’s Vision, Values, and Mission to create sustainable tourism opportunities that benefit the community. This collaboration focuses on developing guided horseback operations that honor N'Quatqua’s rich horse culture and heritage. By revitalizing these traditions, we aim to offer visitors meaningful experiences while fostering a deeper connection to the land.

Learn About Tenures + Land Use
Copper Cayuse Outfitters (CCO) is located within the unceded territory of the N’Quatqua and Lil’wat First Nation and honors the language, culture and history of the St’át’imc Federation. Locally owned and operated, CCO’s backcountry adventures are conducted on 4000 hectares of crown land using tenures/ permits granted and monitored by the Ministry of Water, Land & Resource Stewardship, and Parks and Protected Areas Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy. In addition, all tenures/permits are held jointly by the N’Quatqua First Nations and CCO and all activities fall within the definitions of Adventure Tourism (AT) and Commercial Recreation (CR).
Both N'Quatqua and CCO share a desire to strengthen our relationship with a goal of creating a partnership that not only benefits the community through sustainable tourism but also aligns with N'Quatqua's Vision, Values, and Mission. This collaboration will ensure that N'Quatqua can fully participate in and benefit from the growth of tourism on their traditional lands.
Together, CCO and N'Quatqua are exploring opportunities to develop more sustainable, guided horseback operations. This will contribute to revitalizing a horse culture on their lands, promoting a deeper connection to their heritage while offering enriching experiences for visitors. We are excited to continue building this partnership with N'Quatqua, working together to create a lasting and meaningful impact on the community and the land.
