N'Quatqua First Nations Cultural Riding Expedition
Learn About N’Quatqua First Nations.
Led by N’Quatqua First Nation wranglers, this 4-day unique journey offers a rare opportunity to learn about the N'Quatqua people's creation story, their deep connection to the land, and their perspectives on the region’s evolution, including mining, forestry, and the rise of tourism in their ancestral territories.
For four days and three nights, explore the breathtaking beauty of the land as you ride through serene streams, scenic mountain lakes, and the fascinating Li-lik-Hel mine. Along the way, enjoy the chance to exercise our horses in various gaits while taking in panoramic mountain vistas, spotting local wildlife, and savouring delicious meals.
One evening, gather around the campfire for drumming, singing, and storytelling, offering a rare glimpse into the N'Quatqua’s cultural practices. You may even enjoy a traditional meal, giving you a deeper connection to their heritage. We’ve got all your needs covered, from accommodations to meals—just bring your clothing, toiletries, and any beverages you’d like.

Our riding weight limit is 250 lbs; however, this guideline depends on factors such as a rider’s fitness, height, and riding experience and is not a simple rule. An experienced, balanced rider places far less strain on a horse than someone new to riding, and our priority is always the comfort and long-term health of our herd. Our herd also varies in sizes and not all horses can carry this weight limit.
Please keep these factors in mind when booking. While we do our very best to accommodate all guests within the 250 lb limit, we reserve the right to cancel a booking if we do not have a suitable horse available, as our horses’ wellbeing is always our top priority. We truly appreciate your understanding and care for our animals.
Flexible Booking
We offer flexible booking options including cancellations as late as 24hrs before your ride, rescheduling or cancelling at no extra charge for all rides except the multi-day rides which require 7 days’ notice for cancellation. Last-minute booking can be made up to 2 hours before the hourly ride, 24 hours before for 1/2 day and full day rides and 7 days prior for multiday rides.*
